Uber quick and hilarious read

I may have laughed through this book in 10 minutes but it was a wonderful 10 minutes. This book is at times sweet, sarcastic, and utterly ridiculous. I'm sure I will be referring back to it on rainy days. Very cute overall.

A "Super Cute Flippity Flappity Rampage" of funny

I received an advanced copy of this book, which is why I have a few months on the rest of you with a new favorite party trick: hand the book to a guest and have them try to pick their favorite. First of all, it's impossible, because every one of Mary Laura Philpott's irreverent Penguins with People Problems is funny. But seeing what people gravitate to is like a Rorschach test. My 80-something mom was a fan of the "bit of a work-friend whore" bit, while my dad liked Marsha and her four maragaritas writing her memoir. Mine? Milo and his secret obsession with owning a dance floor a la Billie Jean.
The point is, there's no point to this book, besides making you laugh, reread, laugh, reread. I'm stocking up to give anyone I know who needs cheering up.

Will Deliver Good Laughs

I gave this book as a gift to my wife who really enjoys penguin items. I follow the Tumblr Penguins with People Problems and thought this would be a nice little gift. I know she sat one night laughing at it, has taken it to work to share with a couple ladies there and has shared it with a couple of her girlfriends. For a good laugh this book will deliver.
