Definitely a worthwhile buy!

I was gifted the GoPro Hero 4 Silver camera, however I am not the most tech savvy individual so was a little intimidated to use it until I discovered Jordan Hetrick's "How to Use the GoPro Hero 4 Silver". The instructions are easy to understand, laid out in a user friendly format and with so many great tips, I already feel like a pro who has been doing this for years! I especially found the section on editing super helpful as this is where I seem to get lost in taking lots of footage but not knowing what to do with it! This book is definitely a worthwhile buy for anyone looking to maximize their use of the GroPro Hero 4 Silver.

Essential for First Time users and great for everyone else

I finally got my first GoPro and decided to go with the 4 silver. To a first time user and for someone who basically used their phone to take pictures and videos. These cameras have a lot of options that are far outside my basic knowledge and without at least some basic understanding of what each feature does, you will lower the quality of your videos and pictures and not be as satisfied with you purchase. This book did an excellent job of explaining how all the features work and even gives examples of when to use each feature to which make it easier to understand. This way you don't have to learn what does and doesn't work in certain situations and it even gets the wheels in your head turning on new ideas and ways to use your camera. I probably would have been overwhelmed with this camera if I hadn't gotten this book.

Lend me your ears, I'm going to sound like James Brown here, Please , Please, Please, do yourself a big favor & get this excellent book, and let me give you a few tips when taking the exam, first and foremost, relax, read each question 3 times before you make a decision, don't spend more than 4 min. on each question, move on mark that question, that you are having trouble with and come back to it. This book really goes into detail and helps you move along, and slowly builds your confidence. Trust me, you will pass take a deep breath and "Relax" before this book, I had some trouble with the math, and this book will help you!! PSI, also, has a practice test for $19, you can take before you take the test, that is also worth it. This book is a hands down 5 STARS, Superb!!

Additional Study Guide

First, I have zero experience in the practice of real estate. I bought this book after failing my first state (MI) exam two weeks after taking the required Michigan 40-hour course. I literally wrote out EVERY definition in the back of the book, plus read each chapter minus the broker chapter. I used the written definitions as I read through the book and found that the book is so much more thorough than what any 40 hour required class could every cover. I'm thrilled to say that this past Friday I took the test again, and passed! I felt so much better prepared and more confident after using this book (Guide to Passing the PSI Real Estate Exam, 6th Edition Update). My test included many questions I know I would have got wrong, had I not used this book, mainly because it just wasn't covered in the 40-hour course. So, to make a long story short, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is considering taking the state required course.

Dispel Your Ignorance

Anyone considering taking either their test to be a real estate salesperson or a broker has no doubt attended the requiste classes. Normally this occurs over a period of time. Here in PA a candidate for broker has to attend 240 hours of class room instruction plus deliver multi-year proof of practice.
Even the best of students amongst us is going to forget some of the class room content about Agency, Property Ownership, etc. after numerous classes over a multi-year period (broker).
The Guide to Passing the PSI Real Estate Exam is a great condensed overview of what most states want their broker candidates to demonstrate proficiency in. Included are practice tests so you can be familar with the way the testing companies structure questions. In addition, each chapter has questions at the end to test a candidate's knowledge of that particular chapters material. The answer key directs you to the section in the chapter you are weak on. I highly recommend this book for anyone considering taking their license test.

About the Author
John Gould is the author of two books of very short stories, most recently Kilter, which was a finalist for the Giller Prize and a Globe and Mail Best Book. His fiction has appeared in literary periodicals across the country and has been adapted for short films. He has written freelance non-fiction and has worked as an environmental researcher, tree planter, carpenter and arts administrator. He teaches in the writing department at the University of Victoria and serves on the editorial board of The Malahat Review.

Lewis is Professor of Ancient History in the University of Oxford.

David M. Lewis holds a Leverhulme Early Career Research Fellowship at the University of Edinburgh. He is the author of several articles on slavery in Greek society and economy, and has published in journals such as Classical Quarterly and Historia: Zeitschrift fur alte Geschichte.
