About the Author
Margaret Zhao is an author and poet, born in Hubei China. She immigrated to the USA in 1989. In collaboration with her co-author, Kathleen Martens, Margaret wrote her first book “Really Enough”, A True Story of Tyranny, Courage and Comedy, winner of the Sharp Writ Book Award, 2012 for Best Biography/Memoir. Her natural sense of humor has led her to be a Standup Comedian and Motivational Speaker applauded by audience of all ages. She lives in the San Francisco area, where she actively teaches and shares Chinese culture and Buddhist philosophy.

A pocketful of joy

Margaret Zhao is a talented author and painter of word. Her poems evoke powerful images of life, beauty and humor. I find myself picking up her book throughout the day and savoring the words. She helps me find simple joy in observing nature and the humor in our lives. From her non-fiction book, "Really Enough", to her poetry, Margaret never disappoints.

Haiku at its best!!!

Absolutely the most diverse book of Haiku I have ever read. Poems you will remember and repeat over and over. They are funny and written for all ages to read. Great gifts for anyone in recovery as it will surely give them a smile. Margaret is the best!!!
